I know it has been a while....
Between work, college classes & study at home, I haven't had a spare second to myself these last few weeks {hence my terrible lack of posts}!!! Last Sunday and today I managed to grab some precious moments and start my vegetable & herb garden which I have been wanting to do for a long time. I decided to set it up in a series of pots which are easier to manage and take up less room in the garden. I have shared a few pics for you, the last one of which I am very proud... Some beautiful baby red capsicums have just appeared!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day

P.S. I apologise for the photos, I quickly took them on my phone before dark descended. Also, please excuse the ugly fence - it will be going in our renovations :-)
Hi Kelly, looks like you made a great start on your gardening, It's so rewarding when the little veggies start appearing isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMake sure you show us some pics when they get big and are ready to eat!
I didn't even notice your fence by the way...

Growing your own food is really rewarding, isn't it? Hope you had a relaxing weekend, you sound like you need a holiday after all your hard work! K xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, Lucky you! I just LOVE spending time in the garden! And there is something so rewarding about growing your own herbs and vegies....so fresh. Just pick what you need and they can go straight into the cooking or perfect for a fresh salad! I have been planning to do the same for awhile but we are house-hunting so it will have to wait! :) Have fun! Love you blog by the way - it's great! Best wishes, Michallee (www.moirasarmoire.blogspot.com)
