Always look twice...

At first glance I was in love with this photo and the scene that unfolded {it is Central Park in NYC}. I saw couples in love strolling through a winter wonderland.... That is until a few days later, when looking through my photos again, the below fashion accessory caught my eye.

It always pays to look twice!!!

Missing this...

Soho in the snow!!! I have been terribly sick ever since we got back from NYC & have hardly been out of bed. This image reminds me of a magical fairyland {taken in the streets of Soho not far from the hotel}. Seems so long ago already - sigh x

Homeward bound...

It's our last morning in NYC as we leave this afternoon for home {and begin our long flight!!!}. I have loved every minute of our trip but am also looking forward to seeing my family again.

Fun in NYC..

It has been such a fun week here in New York and we have seen & been to so many amazing places {see Anna's post here}.

We had a super fun time at an amazing trimming place we found and the above picture is Anna choosing yet another trim. We had the poor girls climbing all over the place.... "No, a little higher... up one more row - a few more along, yes that one. Actually no, can I please see the one a few more down with the pink and yellow? No, next one... yes that's it. Thank you...."  It was a hoot and we bought so many fabulous things!!!!

We don't have much time left here so will be making the most of our last few days.

Crosby St wonderland...

This is the gorgeous 'Sculpture Garden' at the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho where we are staying in NY. It is a gorgeous winter wonderland at the moment after all the snow and a vast contrast to it's usual relaxation area in the sunshine in the summer months.

The weather forecast is for an 'ice storm' tonight but at the moment it is just freezing - Literally!!!

Just wanted to say hi from New York! I'm here with Anna for just over a week and so far it has been fabulous. The snow has been amazing {as it is quite a novelty for us} and I am loving the cold!!! It actually started snowing on our way from the airport to the hotel which was perfect. Having never been to NYC before, I am absolutely loving it so far!!!

I will post little updates along the way of places I have been and things that I seen. Until then....
