Brisbane CBD under water
My heart goes out to all of those who have been affected by the terrible floods {not just in Brisbane} but to all those people in central & western Queensland who have been experiencing this for weeks now {some even for the second & third time}. It will be a very long recovery effort but with support from friends, family & the amazing volunteer workers, our beautiful state will come out the other side.
We have been extremely fortunate where we live on the north side of the city, and only experienced power failure but otherwise are safe & well. My family has all been down from North Qld to visit for the last week so at least they are safe also.
There are so many ways in which people need help, and if you are able to provide any assistance at all you can visit the Flood Relief website which has all the details.
Stay safe & strong... Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
