This weekend I thought I would share some inspiration that I used for my dining room. I have been trying to choose a fabric to recover the chairs which I bought {see here}, and I have finally decided on and ordered the fabric!!!
The top picture is my inspiration for colours... I will be repainting all my kitchen cabinets white and have already painted my old dining table white, with glass added to the top. I wanted the space to feel light & airy {as it is very small} but also to be fresh and pretty {with my husband requesting 'not too much pink'}!!
The bottom picture the fabrics for the chairs. I have chosen a fabulous outdoor fabric that will withstand anything while feeling & looking great - this will be used on the seats and the front of the chair backs. The gorgeous venice toile scene with boats and pink buildings will be used on the backs of the chairs {the pic doesn't show it too well}. I wanted something a little quirky & was so excited when I found this fabric - it was meant to be!!! Once I have had them upholstered, I'll post some pics. Hope they turn out ok :-)
Have a wonderful weekend.
