Hobart haunt...

We stayed for a few nights at this amazing hotel in Hobart - The Henry Jones Art Hotel. The hotel is housed in the old IXL Jam factory and the interior still has many original features such as exposed beams, original exposed brickwork and the 'Australian' corrugated iron. I could have quite happily stayed for a lot longer {if we didn't have to continue on the rest of our trip}.

Hope you had a lovely Monday :-)

  1. It's a fabulous place. I have never stayed there but I do know the lady who curates the art. I was also lucky enough to have the man who created those massive drawings in your second photo (lindsay broughton) teach me drawing at art school, just down the road. If I didn't live in Hobart I'd love to stay there on a visit :)

  2. I really love Hobart! Would be tempted to move there if it didn't feel so faraway from the rest of my fam. Nicolex
