Postcards from Tasmania {#2}...

Our driving holiday was basically a 'round' trip of the state. We flew in to Launceston, worked our way up the north coast to Stanley, & drove via Cradle Mountain to Strahan. From there we went across to Hobart and did south of Hobart via a day trip. After that we went via Port Arthur up to Swansea where we had some 'relaxation' time {and didn't want to leave}!!! We then travelled up the east coast to St Helen's and explored the Bay of Fires from there. It was then back to Launceston on the last day for our flight home.

The western wilderness we found amazing and beautiful and could have explored for days!! We ventured to Arthur Creek and where this meets this sea and is aptly called 'The edge of the world'... It felt like it too! Aprt from the amazing scenery, we loved the little towns along the way and enjoyed a quick look through the many antique shops and bric a brac places {with some treasures to take back with us}.

I don't want to bore too much with these photos but will post a couple more from the latter part of trip later in the week. Happy Monday :-)
