Exciting purchase...

I am so excited as yesterday I purchased a pair of stunning Napoleon III armchairs for a great price!!! The upholstery is quite worn in places and needs a good clean so we can use them (sorry about the photo quality). They will sit proudly in my lounge room in place of an old sofa that needs replacing. They have all of their original horse hair, stuffing, springs etc so the hardest part now is trying to decide on what fabric to recover them in.... So many choices!!!!! I may need some help deciding... Will post some options soon.

Brunch anyone...

There is nothing I would love to do more this weekend than have some friends over for a long brunch to eat some delicious food and solve the world's problems. Mind you, it would probably turn into dinner also if I had a gorgeous table and kitchen like the one above!

Happy weekend...

There are a few of my friends who are going through wedding plans at the moment so I can't help but look at beautiful wedding photos and ideas when I come across them. The above photos are from 'Oh How Charming' which is an event planning studio (found via a Frolic wedding post). I was hooked once I saw the site which showcases so many beautiful images of their work - my favourite was a wedding in the Loire Valley... SIGH! To me that would be so perfect!!!!!!!! My own wedding was beautiful and I loved every minute of it, but seeing these amazing images makes me want to do it all over again! Crazy I know.....
