Finished product...

I'm so excited!!!! My dining chairs are finished and were delivered to work today for me to take home. I couldn't resist taking a picture of them in the front section of the shop around a gorgeous Stuart Membery round table. If only this was my dining room at home!!! I'll be sure to post some pics at home once things are a little closer to being finished. To see the chairs before their makeover click here.

A beautiful day to be in the garden...

I know it has been a while....

Between work, college classes & study at home, I haven't had a spare second to myself these last few weeks {hence my terrible lack of posts}!!! Last Sunday and today I managed to grab some precious moments and start my vegetable & herb garden which I have been wanting to do for a long time. I decided to set it up in a series of pots which are easier to manage and take up less room in the garden. I have shared a few pics for you, the last one of which I am very proud... Some beautiful baby red capsicums have just appeared!!!

New cushions...

I finally have some new cushions for the sofas in my lounge room. The sofas are looking very tired but I have to wait a little before we can get new ones, so I needed something to give them a new lease of life. I found this beautiful blue & white indienne floral fabric which I fell in love with and had to have! I had 2 large cushions made in it and I think they look great teamed with my taupe/white striped cushions (which I already had). They give the room a fresh new look which is what I love about cushions!!!!!!! I have a lot leftover which I have saved for another project, whatever that may be....
