Project sneak peek...

I have many projects underway at the moment {the list never seems to get smaller} but I finished this one tonight and love the result. My sister bought some great barstools in a white gloss finish and we chose this gorgeous fabric to recover some cushions for them. I used a plain black as the underneath fabric {to keep costs down} and added some ties also. I will post the completed look once she has them. Hope you had a lovely weekend!!!

Bathroom bliss {or not}...

Well, with the house decisions it's back to square one... We have done a full circle and are now looking at renovating our current house (not in a major way though luckily!). Who knows what we may decide next week though!!!

Aside from that we are having major dramas with our shower and being a 1 bathroom house {sigh} we have been using the bath and our lovely friends bathroom! Only 5 days left until it will be fixed and working again {counting down...}. It has had me dreaming of a gorgeous little bathroom renovation with inspiring ideas from some pictures shown above...

A huge decision was made last week... We are searching for a new house!!! It is time to leave our first house and find something a little bigger and with more potential than our current house. It is exciting but will be hard work finding the right one! My expectations are a little high on what is realistic for us but one can always dream right? I can't wait to find the perfect shell in which to create a beautiful house for us and our future family !!!

{note to those of you whose minds are racing - not just yet :-) }

Decisions, decisions...

I have been playing with a few ideas over the weekend for fabrics for my new chairs and cushions for another sofa. I put together some fabrics which I love together and I think they will be a fun and happy change to our current lounge room. The blue & white ticking is for the antique armchairs (probably in slipcovers so I can change my mind!!!). I am thinking of a neutral coloured 3 seater sofa for our other seating. I was thinking of blue & white scheme but really like this instead! Still deciding...
